Hughes in 1993 to provide a select group of large institutions with the risk mitigation that fixed income investments offer.  Under Ms. Hughes' stewardship, HCM grew to manage over $1 billion in AUM and enabled the firm to become one of the leading Minority owned investment management firms in the United States.
